Also note that while harvesting USUALLY works, often times they block you and you lose the minutes / gb, and they only extend the service days. I have found that I have to wait until 60 days before the end of a previous phone purchase (e.g. month 10 of 12 using it) to transfer over to the new phone prevents this from happening, otherwise it just adds service days and I lose all the minutes/texts/gb. And Tracfone systems and support keep going downhill often requiring you to call or chat for an hour to fix simple issues of it not honoring things even when purchased directly on their own web site.
Note: This is my experience for a "home" phone that replaced landline for cheap continued service and linkage to in-house cordless phones, not a "real" carry with you cell phone--I'd never use these crappy low end phones for anything more than a phone call or random MFA text. Most need rebooting every few weeks to free up consumed resources just sitting there (yes, non-smart Flip phones are way better that way than these old slow bloated smart phones)
