I am convinced that Lasko has an army of paid folks out there…..
I gave an honest experience with my Lasko fans, as did you.
It's possible that something has changed in the last year....but 4.5 stars with 48,000 reviews says it's a great product.
Menards has an "Aerospeed" on sale for $16.84 and you can get 11% store credit rebate.

These (and all fans) have ZERO cooling capability.
All they do is move air around.
Pushing the hot air outside, drawing the cool night air in.
Thus lowering the house temperature an easy 15*f around here.
Might be time to try the AeroSpeed @ Menards. $14.99 and a bigger 68w motor
