Great dedicated camera drone for groups, if you usually go solo and mostly do selfies neo 2 will be a better option which doesn't require a remote.

Mini 5 is over 250gr. Be extremely careful where you fly, cause it broadcasts remote id for sure! If you see any message before taking off, just dont fly. Not worth it

This is very good tip.Ppl are not aware how limited airspace is for this kind devices.Most attractive places in the world are, most likely ,also "no drone" zones.

Are we sure this can even get off the ground in the US? They're not legal to sell here, and DJI uses their firmware to enforce all local restrictions. I updated the firmware on my FPV and it fights me every time I try to take off. Why wouldn't DJI shut down all flight on a drone that isn't legal in the US?

It has RID built in, regardless of RID being built in the drone or not the FAA knows where your drone is when you fly it. As long as you have a TRUST certificate and are using a standard battery, flying for recreational purposes you good to go.

DJI still legal in the US. Won't be an issue.

Seeing tons of articles that they are fine to fly. Amazon US is also selling them. If these were banned, I highly doubt Amazon would be selling them as it would put them at risk for legal repercussions.

If it doesn't broadcast, no one would know. Since it is over 250gr, it does broadcast.

From what I've heard, it's when you use the extended battery which weighs more when it starts broadcasting.

Not even the 3 pro will go that low with a screen controller. These hold their value well. Especially now that DJI can't fully operate and sell like normal in USA anymore
