I would do the same, but I'm concerned that the steenkin' squirrel [aka "bushy-tailed tree rat"] that eats every plant in reach in our backyard would just chew through the sides of the bags... Where's a red-tailed hawk when you need one?🙄

Pretty good deal. 5gal is maybe a bit small for some tomato varieties. Black is way better than the tan ones which show stains much more. My only real complaint about the 10 and 15gal ones I have is I can't use my cages in them because too shallow for the stakes to really hold so I use lots of bamboo or plastic stakes and string.
