make sure you turn off the stupid RAM PLUS option in ONE settings, it will double your speed

This is regular price. The product just goes OOS occasionally since you can only have so many refurbs

The phone is pathetically slow even with all junk removed. The reason is simple - 4gb RAM is not enough for an Android in 2026.

4gm ram is miserable. a moto power 2024 with 1500/1500/1.5 same price is much faster due to 8gb ram

i have a few tracfones that i keep in gloveboxes for emergencies. i had one of them get cancelled/expired due to inactivity. i never use any of them really. for some reason they shut one down. took quite awhile with support to finally get them to reactivate it. they told me that i needed activity on the phone every week! once inactivated, it can only be reactivated within 30 days, then it's gone forever.

i don't use them weekly, but i try to remember to at least do it monthly and haven't had a problem since...fingers crossed.

Thank you for that tip. My RAM Plus was ON at 4GB. The phone is restarting now after turning it off. I hope I see some improvement in the speed. ED: Sorry to say it didn't work for me. I chose 3 random apps and each took about 20 secs before I got a screen for the app. Same as with RAM Plus for me.

In my case I received a text msg telling me I had to use data, make a call or send a text every 60 days. I do occasionally use the phone but only using WIFI at home. I just took it out with me, turned off the WIFI and called my primary phone, letting it go for a few minutes. I should be good for another 60 days, but I guess I have to set some sort of reminder for me to do this regularly.

Sims are registered to the phone imei. You need to move service after activating - move to preferred phone using a new byop sim and choosing keep current number.
