Our ComfortSoft men's boxers are made from 100% cotton (solid shades) or 75% cotton/25% polyester (heathered shades).
Community Reviews
Hanes ComfortSoft boxers are a soft, lightweight everyday pair that stands out for comfort, especially at the low six pack price and the rare XXXL size. The solid colors are 100 percent cotton, while heathered shades are 75 percent cotton and 25 percent polyester, and the no huge logos look is a plus. The main caveats are fit and deal quirks, since the boxers offer less support than briefs or trunks, the seat seam can feel awkward, and the coupon and pricing vary by size. Recent packs also seem to have a thinner waistband and less robust quality than older versions.
Common Questions (5)
No. The coupon appears to work for some sizes like M and XL, but not for Large, and some shoppers saw the coupon clip without applying at checkout. The discount also appears to have dropped to $4.49 off for some listings.
Recent packs are reported to be thinner, less soft, and less durable than older versions, with some quality-control complaints. The waistband also appears narrower on newer packs, though not enough for some buyers to call it a deal breaker.
Solid colors are 100% cotton, while heathered shades are 75% cotton and 25% polyester. The fabric difference is mostly in appearance, and the boxers are still described as soft and comfortable in both versions.
Yes, the intended deal is tied to the Comfort Flex waistband option. Selecting the wrong waistband variant can mean you are not getting the exact product being discussed.
They are loose-fitting boxers, so they provide less support than briefs or trunks. They work well for around the house and can be worn under jeans, but they may feel too free under khakis or dress pants if you want more support.

As stated above they are a mix of 100% cotton and 75% cotton/25% polyester (as are most heathered shades). I don't notice a difference between the two varieties other than appearance.
I wear boxer briefs and trunks in a bigger size because I don't like how tight they fit on me. I am a 31 waist but usually buys a L so that they are not so constricting. I wonder with these if I can finally go more true to size like a medium becuase this is made to fit more loosely?
