Total Wireless: Bring Your Own Device, Get Total MAX 5G BYO Unlimited Plan
$20/Month ($30 1st Month)
w/ Auto Pay + Keep Your Numberat Total Wireless

Visible +pro annual plan for $225 has the same unlimited priority data, but also gives you unlimited hotspot at 15 mbps, a drastic improvement. Also, Apple Watch line is also included. It also works out to be a bit cheaper per month roughly $18.75 instead of the $20/month for total.
Visible also has a 25% statement credit off with some chase cards, with a max discount of $15. If you stack that with a $20 referral code from a current customer, you can get a $35 off the annual plan so it'll only be $190 for the year, or just under $16/month net.
Hard to beat that unless verizon is really bad around you.
Community Reviews
Total Wireless's $20 BYOD plan stands out for unlimited priority data on Verizon, unlimited hotspot at 5 Mbps, and international roaming that includes 10 GB plus calling to many countries. The deal also carries a 5 year price lock on the base rate, with taxes and fees included, and some accounts can stack rewards or home internet discounts. The main catches are that new customers usually need to port in from another carrier, the first month can bill at $30, and the promo price depends on autopay and eligibility. Customer service and porting problems are the biggest recurring concern, so it fits best if you want low monthly cost and can tolerate some setup friction.
Common Questions (5)
The first month is $30, then it drops to $20 per month with Auto Pay. The checkout can show $55 until the promo and Auto Pay discount fully apply, so the lower price may not appear immediately.
Yes. The plan includes unlimited hotspot capped at 5 Mbps, plus international roaming with 10 GB of data and calling coverage to 200+ countries. It also includes 5G UW and is often described as a strong option for frequent travelers.
The 5-year guarantee applies to the qualifying plan and base price, not necessarily to every promotional discount shown at checkout. Auto Pay and BYOD requirements must stay active, and the phone itself does not have to stay the same device for the full term.
Yes, Total Wireless can activate eSIM on compatible phones. Several signups completed with eSIM QR activation, and switching phones with a physical SIM can be immediate with no billing change.
Yes. The $20 BYOD promo is for new customers who port in from another carrier; Google Voice and existing Total/Total by Verizon lines do not qualify. Total Wireless also treats a new customer as someone who has not activated Total service in the last 90 days.

Whether this deal will be extended, I don't know. Anyone has insider info?
Part of me is asking the same question so that I can procrastinate to this. However, my daughter is currently on Tello's $25/month plan and my long term plan is to move her to Total Wireless. We travel to the UK, Canada, Japan, and possibly other counties at least once or twice a year. Our plans include international data and roaming. It doesn't seem like a huge deal but it's definitely a great convenience of not having to buy a data eSIM.
$20/month is a great deal. Some of us jumped on the Total Wireless bandwagon 2 years ago on the deal for the Unlimited 5G (MAX 5G equivalent) $15/month plan. I could be wrong but $20/month has been the best deal since, imho. I'll likely complete the switch this evening so that I can put this thing behind me.

For those who are signing up:
- I had a hard time completing the checkout on the Safari browser of my phone. I ended up repeating the process on a computer browser. It went through just fine, around 9:30pm Pacific.
- My current carrier is Tello. When I filled out my order, I had to choose "other" as the carrier. I hope it doesn't have trouble completing the porting request. I'll report back how long it'll take to get the eSIM confirmation via text.
Update: I was so dumb. Immediately after the order was placed, I was shown a QR code, which would ultimately activate my Total Wireless eSIM. I did get an email from Tello within 15 minutes that my account with them was ported out and therefore terminated.Have a great evening everyone.
This has been so far so good, coming from ATT
was paying $43 for ATT, this is less than half.
But i do have spotty coverage at my area, so using Wifi Calling is god send.
My work place has UW, whih gives speeds of 1.3TB, even faster than my home fiber lol.
