As they are connected alarms, they are exempted from the hardwired provision in fire codes.
Why bother?
When my smoke/co alarms go off, everybedroom light, hallway light, and exterior light in my house turns on. Texts and emails are sent to multiple phones/accounts.
Anyone have experience with both?
