At $650 cheaper and biggest difference is 5070 T hereI vs. 5080, this deal is much hotter than the other 5080 deal with very similar cpu/ram/storage specs.

Two different products; one is manufacturer refurbished and the other is new. People have different preferences, and for someone not inclined to buy refurbished items, they will not consider this.

Also, how does this compare with intel's version which is slightly more cheaper at https://www.ebay.com/itm/257075445486. AI tells me that only major item that intel option lacks is builtin GPU, but since these machines have dedicated RTX5070 on them - Would it matter going with cheaper option?

i got this at Christmas time with a 5080 and 64gb ram new from walmart around nov. for just 100$ more or so. Came with a gigabyte SFF 5080 and mostly gigabyte stuff. took it all apart and put in in a fractal ridge. replaced motherboard as it was junky gigabyte board. overall stock it wasn't bad though.

That 14th Gen Intel CPU is so inefficient and poorly optimized that it doubles as a space heater and can be used to stay warmer in the winter.

But need to update firmware before use, otherwise it may burn out, AFAIK.

I wouldn't buy anything with 14th Gen or older Intel CPU.

This is a pretty good deal all things considered. I built myself a PC w/ similar specs earlier this year. Aside from my PC containing a 9070 XT, 48GB RAM (CL30), and a 9900X instead, the price to performance of this rig is quite comparable to mine.

This is like when someone leaves a comment on a recipe that it was a great recipe but they"tweaked" the recipe and changed every ingredient.
