I just got the m3 max from the other deal. Been using it for the last two weeks. I'm guessing this is similiar. The only thing that is annoying so far is the drop sensors are very sensitive. It gets confused on my dark green mats and anything thats a dark color. I had the sensors with duct tape. I hear this is a common problem with all robovacs though.

I havn't tried the mopping yet. But the vacuuming is on point. You can set lots of no go zones for a single floor, and floors can be custom broken up into rooms, if the auto room feature gets it wrong. You can clean only the rooms you select, or the whole house. It does seem to move slower than my other vacs, but its very precise going around things. It can do complex nav like going between a bunch of chairs under a table and finding it's way back out again with ease. The vacuum part shuts off while it moves from area to area. One thing I did notice is it doesn't seem to detect if its own canister is full and to go empty it while cleaning. It will only self empty at the end of the a cleaning session. The first time I ran it, I was curious how much dust it was picking up and I checked half way through and it was completely jampacked.

Its very quiet compared to my other vacuums. I got mine for 150. It was a no brainer at that price.

For 100, this is a no brainer too. Beats all the dumb bump ones and the gyro based ones.

As with all these, you are going to have to follow it around and keep an eye on it the first few runs to see what it gets stuck on, tangled up in, has trouble navigating etc and either rearrange your stuff or set a no go zone. I found the M3 Max really likes to climb things...it's climbed onto my bathroom scale, etc.

Are you able to set it to vacuum the rug before washing the floor?

It either mops and vacuums or just vacuums, there's no option for just mopping. The vacuum he mentioned I bought it too, seems to work good and it has a function where when it detects its on a carpet it will pick up the mop pads to prevent it from wetting it.

I also got the m3 max and have been very happy with it so far but note that this one is auto-empty vacuum with a drag mop, not spinning brushes and auto-empty mop like the m3.

From my experience with a roborock drag mop, don't expect too much from the mopping side. That said, I am not aware of any auto-emptying LIDAR vacuums anywhere near the $110 price point, so this is still an excellent deal imho.

Terrible obstacle avoidance, but pretty solid otherwise. If you pick your stuff up it will work well for you.

Wow. Lidar vac for ~$100? Unimaginable a year or two back. Is this one that uses the Tuya app for control?

Well, i bought the bot and found out the answer. In order to mop, you have to manually wet and apply the mopping pad every time. Otherwise it does vacuum & dusting only. Honestly, I will likely send it back. I really want mopping that is not this much of a hassle.

Oh holy cow, this is going back! I thought the iRobot was loud. Compared to this, it's almost silent. Seriously, my lawn mower is quieter. I'll break down and fork over the cash for the part to fix the iRobot.

I have the M3 model. The hardware specs seem pretty good, but the software still needs a lot of improvement. Compared to other brands, Lefant's navigation algorithm isn't really that smart yet. There are some areas where the robot goes back and forth 3–4 times, which makes each cleaning session take quite a while. It also frequently bumps into corners and walls.

That said, if you don't really care about those issues, it does a pretty good job of vacuuming and mopping. Overall, the cleaning performance is quite good.

It uses its own "lefant" app. The app is decent - not exceptional but functional enough overall. This is under the assumption the m2 would be on the same app as the m3.
