I believe a common concern is no UL listing/certification. Fairly important for plugged power products IMO. AmazonBasics sells 2 packs for a decent price if youre just looking for 3 prong extension.

Combined 15w output for USB? Isn't that a little low?

Fair concern. Most of the random capital letter China branded power items listed on here do typically have a cert of some kind as I've looked them up in the past. So I really think it is the bare minimum to have something.

The UL listing comment makes sense - I'm not very technical so didn't really think about this (note, I am not a Deal Hunter!). I liked it for the length and size; actually used a command strip to attach it to the counter where I needed it. I'll keep an eye on it as I am using it with a toaster (!) but so far so good. I thought the USB charge ports were a nice add but tbh I probably won't even use that part.

Thanks very much for the hands on insight. How much current does a toaster pull? That actually seems like a pretty good test. Per Gemini:

Absolutely. A toaster is essentially a torture test for cheap power strips. They are high-draw resistive appliances that routinely pull between 800 and 1,500 watts (up to 12.5 amps). If this power strip—which is rated for a maximum of 10 amps—can run a toaster without the internal contacts melting or the casing catching fire, it proves the internal wiring is decently robust.

I think it would serve me, just to put my computer and charging connections a little closer to my standing desk.
Any updates in the past week? Still happily toasting?
