Absolutely. A toaster is essentially a torture test for cheap power strips. They are high-draw resistive appliances that routinely pull between 800 and 1,500 watts (up to 12.5 amps). If this power strip—which is rated for a maximum of 10 amps—can run a toaster without the internal contacts melting or the casing catching fire, it proves the internal wiring is decently robust.
I think it would serve me, just to put my computer and charging connections a little closer to my standing desk.
Any updates in the past week? Still happily toasting?
