This Husky rechargeable tripod work light stands out for its detachable light, magnetic base, and surprisingly useful tripod, which also has a standard mount and adjustable height for area lighting or under car work. The light gets praise for task use, camping, backyard gatherings, and even video calls, and the tripod alone is often treated as worth the clearance price. The main caveats are that the 800 lumen claim feels overstated, charging can be finicky or slow on older stock, and the tripod can be unstable or fragile over time. A handy clearance find if the form factor fits your setup.
The detachable light and magnet base make under-car work easier to set up quickly.
In-store clearance workflows can produce lower "Special Buy" pricing at checkout after finding the item.
The tripod can extend to about 28 inches for area lighting and can suit multiple tasks.
The light can be used while plugged in, which helps during longer jobs.
The light can dim after about seven minutes, which may not match expectations for "800" brightness.
The tripod can be unstable on anything but a flat surface, which limits overhead or under-hood positioning.
The tripod durability can fail after a few months, with internal plastic pieces crumbling and losing tension.
Charging may require a USB-C to USB-A cable because a regular USB-C cable or port may not work.

Opened the package in my car, then went back in to the store and got two more.
The only downside is the durability of the tripod. It is more like a table-top tripod at 32" tall, but for the price is ok.
Just the detachable rechargeable light is worth at least, $8.

In addition, they have the 2500 Lumens Dual Power Rechargeable Battery or Solar Powered LED Work Light on clearance for $4.95 as well:
