Why do they keep pushing these stupid sound bars?? Wish they would just lower the price for TV only, without any add-ons.

Sound bar is optional. Discount is already with the TV. It's an incentive for you to get the TV in the first place.

Not sure how big of an improvement the G6 is over the G5 but I'm holding out for it until next year when it will inevitably be around the $2K mark like the G5 was this year. I will be coming from a C1 so hoping it will be a worthy upgrade. C1 still holding its own but the brightness is lacking in the daytime.

The soundbar is actually very good. And it works well with the LG G6 using the LG WOW Orchestra feature which integrates the TV's speakers along with the soundbar speakers.
