The standard physical sim card they ship is Warp Verizon, Darkstar ATT. If you want a physical T Mo Light Speed Sim request it right after placing the order through chat otherwise you'll wait another week to get it.

FWIW I switched from Minto mobile to US last year during a BOGO offer.

Noticed zero changes, I'm not a power user, but do commute on a train for work.

I'm blown away at people still on the majors paying $75-$100 per month

I think US Mobile is the best carrier I've found as far as customer service goes.

iPhone and Android can both do that:

Android 14+ (Native): Go to Settings > Network & Internet > SIMs and ensure Switch mobile data automatically is toggled on. The system will handle the switch based on signal strength and availability.

Samsung Galaxy: Navigate to Settings > Connections > SIM manager and toggle on Auto data switching. This allows the phone to fall back to the secondary SIM if the primary loses signal.

iPhone: Open Settings and tap Cellular (or Mobile Service) > Cellular Data. Then, select your preferred primary SIM for data. Toggle Allow Cellular Data Switching to ON.

I've been using their Verizon for two years now. The service been decent and the prices is pretty good if you can pay the annual amount upfront.

You can just scan a QR code from your email to activate an esim on a new phone in a minute.

I do the same you. I pay $30 for 1 yr, with unlimited cell and text, thats for my first esim, look on ebay. My 2nd esim, I get those travel data 3GB for $3 for 30 days. Do comparison shopping for travel esim, sometimes I go to the library or store to get free WiFi, if anything important, I use my VPN.
