More than a MacBook Neo in many cases, but twice the memory and has a touchscreen, worse SoC, worse screen, likely worse other hardware, worse OS. Not really seeing a deal.

it's OLED. wouldn't that make the screen better than the neo? Everything else is indeed worse

It's a rebranded cell chip . Get a real notebook. OLED is overrated in laptops, kills battery.. do not believe otherwise. I have 3 OLED laps . all great but half the life of the ips one

This maybe the fastest web browser. Chromebook is the most secure.

The Neo uses an A18 Pro, not the 6 year old M1, which is 50% faster in single core processing and about equal at multicore.

The form factor, 16GB of RAM and OLED touchscreen are definitely an attempt by Lenovo to launch a premium Chromebook.

As with ARM anywhere outside the Apple ecosystem, the CPU struggles to command the premium set by higher-horespower Intel-based models. However, the CPU in question does meet the requirements to qualify for Google's Chromebook Plus program and has received good reviews as implemented in ChromeOS (the OS being less demanding and having fewer ARM-specific limitations than, for example, Windows on ARM implementations).

Premium chromebooks remain a niche category. Whether this price represents any kind of value for a buyer depends very highly on whether that buyer was ever even in the market for such a device in the first place.
