I replied to this thread yesterday but it's not in my subscribed list.

So why wasn't the above thread added to my subscribed list?

Do you have a lot of threads in your list? Once you hit the limit (not sure what it is but I know it's over 100 but could be 200+) then subscription behavior becomes more erratic/unpredictable. If so I suggest unsubscribing from some older threads that may no longer be of interest.

I've been on SD for 11yrs.
i'm pretty sure i have replied to over 3k threads.

Suggestion:
have the site Automatically unsubscribe to 3yr+ threads since there's a programming bug?

Noted (posting here means the product, etc teams will see it).

I will say I'm pretty sure that option is off by default (except in app, where there's no way to turn it off), so it's probably not a very widespread problem, and thus unlikely to be prioritized. If you prefer to keep the subscription setting as is you may wish to plan for periodic cleanouts, vs waiting for an automated solution.

For what it's worth, I've been here over 20 years and have 11 subs, most of which are old long running threads that are regularly updated that I would be unhappy to be unsubscribed from!
