Good $15 P&G coupon, just bought 2x Charmin Ultra Soft Mega Toilet Paper 2ply White 208 SheetsRoll 12 RollsCase 88135 for $31 ish after the $15 P&G coupon. That made a decent deal comparison to regular supermarket (ex. Kroger) for people pay with rewards My out of pocket cost is $1.04 with $30 rewards.
It seems someone downvote this for no good reason but this type of info is useful for people who has rewards to spend.

thanks for the (better) alternative. we need more toilet paper than paper towels.
for some reasons they dont let me use more rewards on this. capped at $30 when i still have more than $200 in rewards left.
edited: i figured it out. the total is under $31. so i can only use up to $30. but their wording is confusing "not enough rewards to claim".
Rewards are redeemed in $1 full increments, so if your total is $30.99 you can redeem $30. pay 99c oop.
thank you mr 99 cent cone icecream
their reward claiming is so confusing with the msg. ive skipped a couple deals due to their stupid msg. kept saying not enough rewards to claim or credit cards invalid/not applied. it turned out that i couldnt claim 100% in rewards even though their cart took them successfully.
i remember i tried to claim $349.00 for my ipad. their shopping cart took all $349 in rewards with $0.00 left on the balance. but i cant for the life of me figure it out. no matter what credit card i entered to fulfill that $0.00 balance.
their chat support is useless too. they didnt know how to solve it, except to tell me just place the order then they would credit it back. but i couldnt continue because the shopping cart did not take any credit card info.
anyway, the trick is to claim $348.00 in rewards, then pay $1.00 on the balance using any credit card. thats my pro tip for the day.

have they changed this rewards full increment thing? i remember i tried to claim $199.99 for my ipad. their shopping cart took all $199.99 with $0.00 left on the balance. but i cant for the life of me figure it out. no matter what credit card i entered to fulfill that $0.00 balance.

anyway, the trick is to claim $199.98 in rewards, then pay $0.01 on the balance using any credit card. thats my pro tip for the day.
I think the trick is to claim full dollars and NO cents to successfully redeem rewards and pay the balance. No change. $199.99 means redeem $199.00 not $199.98. I know this because when I redeem rewards in store the register system only allows full $1 redemptions. I think the loose change or $0 total flags an error and that's why you couldn't checkout.
It's not a big deal to just pay the 99c, you can even use a Staples gift card you get at a discounted price.

thats right. i just corrected my ipad prices from your quote.
but they should have fixed their carts error msg. what it said wasnt correct in both situations.
can we still convert discover points to staples giftcards at 20% off? not sure if they migrated my discover to capitalone yet and dont know what happened to their giftcard portal.
i was wrong about that 99 cents. it was in full dollar amount. i fixed my OP. it was for the $349.00 ipad. so the cart let me claim all $349.00 with $0.00 left in balance. but it would not take any credit card info after that. so basically, you will have to pay something with your credit card. cant spend 100% in rewards like the old days.

to your final comment, if the CC info won't take with a $0 balance, just add a 25c school supply filler to get around that. or you can manually redeem $1 less in rewards than the total.
As for Discover, if your card stayed as a Discover card, (versus a Capital One card) yes, you can still redeem for discounted GC's in their rewards portal. If it migrated over to Cap One, I'm not sure what they offer for rewards earnings.

they didnt have any 25c school supply when the ipad was at $350. i just wanted to spend their rewards as fast as i could before they are out of business
they havent send me the new capital one card yet. i better convert all my discover points now...

it seems like not all P&G items work with it though. only the items under the banner page
