1.5 gallons = 11.97 at my grocery store.... And we buy a slightly cheaper brand that is cheaper for 1.5 gallons ~$9.87 If you want a specific band, this is 12% off of grocery story price (Pending your area, some more, some less.) So I'd say go for it, otherwise there are better deals to be had.

are we talking shelf stable? You can't compare shelf stable costs to refrigerated. These are great for travel, having some in the house after a long trip away, as a backup for when you run out and can't get to the store, etc.
