Yes, brand new this month. My auto center had no clue either and said they likely are not a participating location. I opened up a chat with customer service and they verified otherwise. I called the auto center back and told them and they put a call into corporate, called me back and told me I'm all set and to just bring my phone so they can scan my Walmart+ barcode. You can pull up a scannable barcode in the in-store offers section, any offer will work, they all just link to a barcode that scans your Walmart+ member ID into the system. The link I provided brings you to the FAQ which includes details, very bottom of the page.

Similar issue here. I spent half an hour at the Walmart Auto Center counter, and their staff had no idea how to apply it. I waited for the manager to come back from lunch, and still no luck.Even more ridiculous, when I contacted Walmart.com customer service, the first response was that no such benefit exists. It took the agent a while to finally understand this new benefit, yet there was still no solution.No one seems to know how to apply it, and scanning the barcode in my Walmart app doesn't work.At the end, they gave me a $10 coupon as compensation — absolutely not worth the wasted time and hassle.

I have seen some shit oil change jobs come out of Walmart before. Pretty certain they used an impact wrench on a friend's oil filter. Replacing oil and coolant caps with random things laying around, milk jug caps, etc. Also seen them not even replace the oil filter several times. I wouldn't get my or my loved one's oil changed at Walmart even if they paid me $25. Just stick to the 10c off at the gas pump.

Agreed. I have W+ free thru my AmEx, but it's billed monthly.
This would have been a nice little bonus. I do my own oil changes, but this would have been great for my college kid who is 5 hours away and shares our W+ acct.

Truck hasn't cared where I put fuel in and the only "top tier" diesel in my area is Citgo. I'm not going out of my way to pay more for something I probably won't see a benefit to. Filled up this morning with 203068 miles, the motor will outlast everything else. Thanks though.

Thanks for sharing. Shame they didn't send info out to the auto centers about this, or just make it a simple scannable coupon on the app.
