You can't be serious this is a great deal for people who do casual gaming. It beats the Steam Machine any day and that one is made for Gaming. So please don't say its not a Gaming Desktop because it doesn't have the specs you would like to have but probably will never get for $999.99....

My main point has been this pc is a complete beginner's trap, the only redeeming quality is the fact it comes with 32gb ddr5. That pc which was posted minutes after I saw this is pc, and is at minimum 30-40% faster while gaming for 27% more, and orders of magnitudes faster at anything dealing with productivity.
I personally wouldnt buy that either, the 5070 is a good card but the 9070 is in some of these refurb's in this price range and its just as fast with an extra 4gb vram. Id also want an amd cpu, but that is just me.

Bottom line is if you want a gaming pc, then get a gaming pc. If $1000 is your line in the sand, then Id like to think you would want to make every $ count. Since you will be wholly relying on dlss and frame generation with this pc, you may as well find a 5600x/7600/32 gb 3200mhz ddr4 machine for $600-$700. Yeah it wont be as snappy, but your gaming experience wont be much different considering it too will be using the same upscaling and frame gen fighting tooth and nail to play any current year AAA, unoptimized demanding garbage at 1080p/60+ fps.
If you are in this position, do yourself a solid and save up $300-$400 more and buy something that not only can play games at 1440p at high settings and fps natively, but will last you years to come. I am not a pre built type of person, but I see plenty 7700x/7800x3d systems with 9060xt 16gb or if you are lucky, a 9070, for under $1500.
Unless you are a retro gamer or only play games made before 2022, skip this pc. Dont let the price fool you, this aint it.

Anyone who says intel aren't gaming CPUs are straight busters and clowns. Those Ultra chips use half the power and produce similar performance. They are excellent chips.
