You can't be serious this is a great deal for people who do casual gaming. It beats the Steam Machine any day and that one is made for Gaming. So please don't say its not a Gaming Desktop because it doesn't have the specs you would like to have but probably will never get for $999.99....
Corsair Vengeance 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL36 Memory
Crucial P310 1 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive
Gigabyte WINDFORCE OC GeForce RTX 5060 8 GB PCIe x8 Video Card
ASUS B860M MAX GAMING AX Motherboard
Overall really happy with the parts and value here. Closest build I could get on PC Part Picker had me at $1650 (https://pcpartpicker.co

Remember things like fabs take 2 years to spin up, and the chinese ram is not as good or enough to make a difference any time soon.

I am surprised he hasn't called child protective services on you yet.
But seriously, it'll be fine for all those things. I hope he enjoys it.
any chance for better deals with the increases from Ai ? trade magazines say storage & RAM prices are going to go up another 10-20% by the end of 2026 .

1080p gaming is not bad, and until January, I was gaming at 1080p.
IMO the amd you linked is not worth $350 more than this. It is just a rough time to purchase pcs.
Oh, and, maybe use that $350 for an oled 24" 1080p. These have been dropping in price lately.
