Back in the day I use to upgrade my phone every two years because we use to see real upgrades, now they have been very minor over the past 6-10 years and they are truly not worth it.

I have a 16PM and it's fine. Just the software is absolute garbage, iOS is not as good and snappy as it use to be. Their AI is failed and they are resorting to using Google Gemini for Siri.
