Higher end impacts will have "driver" settings and "bolt/fastener" settings. Regardless, kinetic energy is calculated the same. The only difference in the higher end models is the ability to change the modes/speed of the impact.

Yes, and one of these tools measures that torque in inch pounds 1500 (150ft/lbs). Lug nuts are 80-150 torque on install, add in heat and grime and they likely exceed the capacity of this tool. Also the user and the tool are going to be unhappy doing this job.

There's no "big tool" shit here man, they are made for different jobs. I know they both twist things, but I think it's kinda irresponsible in a way to recommend someone a tool that will be on the ragged edge of performance when the ACTUAL tool they would be happy doing the job with exists: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwa.../330542470
