These are great back in the days when we didn't have cordless circular tools to cut metal.

About the same price at Harbor Freight, but HF has replaceable head.

You might be able to say that Hobo Freight has a "lifetime" warranty on their hand tools too. I haven't personally had a problem with this, but you never know.

The jaws on this bolt cutter are replaceable just the same, if need be.
Tho on these smaller bolt cutters it wouldn't make sense to ever replace the jaws, as the typical price of the jaws would be about the same as the entire new bolt cutter.

Walmart doesn't want you shopping in store anymore, hence they price everything cheaper online and make more difficult to shop in store.

Would this be better than the WORKPRO 18-Inch Foldable Bolt Cutter [amazon.com]? I have that one and it fits in a fanny pack.

Where do you get a replacement head and how much are they? Not sure if it is 'replaceable' because it bolts on to the handles, but if so, these have the same type of head, so I assume it is replaceable too.

will that work for basic wear and tear? I always figure their tool pricing makes them essentially disposable if you don't feel like trying to deal with returns, which I've never tried.

the ones you linked at 3x the cost so better depends on if you need the fold down style (for urban exploring it might make sense) and budget.

I knew a person who enjoyed going to parks and using these to cut the chains on swingsets and take the seats. Kids were so upset when there were no swings.

These things really are kind of obsolete with the power tools we have today.

Won't be enough in most places, you'd need your Glock too.
