FYI Roa's sold out to a big food company not too long ago. Supposedly ingredients changed and is not as good (and less healthy) than it once was. Do your own research if that's something you care about

If $1 will break you, then get progresso when it's on sale for $1-2 a can. I think this stuff is much better (chicken especially has better texture), so I pay around $3 a can/bottle for Rao's.

Warning. The last time I tried to purchase Rao's from Amazon, I got a box full of broken jars. I won't do it again.

It's a crapshoot with Amazon delivery. I'd normally buy this but no longer willing to risk yet another mess from a negligently handled broken container.

When I buy heavy things from Amazon (like 12 packs of soda) I have to be careful not to order something fragile (like potato chips or light bulbs) within that order period because they will combine the orders in one box on one day. Apparently Bezos needs squeeze out a few more pennies from each order.

I mean…yeah, screw Bezos to infinity and beyond - but the packing issue you're describing here is smart. Put simply: it's good business. Not to mention, fewer deliveries/separate packages => better for the environment.

Again: Bezos can go straight to hell. But I can't begrudge him nor Amazon for prioritizing efficiency in this manner.

To get back on topic: I've seen Rao's soups (this one and a couple of others) at Target for $3.99, and they piqued my curiosity. I like a lot of other Rao's brand stuff, so maybe I'll give them a shot at this price.

Interesting, single digit IQ take. Not surprised.
