I was browsing some of the bomgaars rebates (IN-STORE/pick up ONLY) and came across a few good ones...
Decent price when buying online, great price if buying in store!
This is a mid-lower end model, but brushless and very cheap with rebate.

Rebate Instructions:
  1. Go to the Bomgaars Rebate Center page.
  2. Select the "I shopped online" option.
  3. Select the "625 - $40 DeWalt Cordless Drill/Impact Driver & Impact Driver Combo Kit 6298-0951" option in the dropdown.
  4. Follow the remaining instructions on the Bomgaars site.
DCK227D2 kit includes:
  • (1) 1/2" Drill/Driver (DCD793)
  • (1) 1/4" Impact Driver (DCF840)
  • (2) DCB203 20V MAX* Batteries (2.0Ah)
  • (1) 2amp Charger (DCB112)
  • (1) Kit Bag

Your post is a little confusing when you mentioned (IN-STORE/pick up ONLY) because I just ordered this online for delivery, and submitted the rebate, and everything went through.

  • Rebates are in-store merchandise coupons that can only be used one time.
  • Rebates cannot be used on bomgaars.com

I just looked. I think the rebate is available to all purchases, but you can only redeem the value for in store purchases. So if you don't have a bomgaars near you, it's pretty useless.

As another has already said, the rebates are NOT supposed to work for bomgaars.com orders...

With that stated, please update on if you actually get the rebate or not. That would likely be a game changer for most.

This is what I'm getting as I read into this a bit more. Good to see we both came to that same conclusion.
I haven't ever submitted for a rebate here, but was going to try at a store soon to figure it out.

For anyone that's done these before, is this true? You can submit a rebate for any purchase but can only redeem it in-store?
Also, when does the rebate amount expire?

Got the dewalt 1007 HD HammerBeast; 3sp XR 1/4" impact (mid torque driver but reliable) 2 slim "new style" 4ah XR batteries to pair and compare with stack batteries. Hd tools are heavy so liked this style battery. Last purchased 2yrs ago the HD 1007 alone with stack 8 ah powerstack battery for $ 250. Couldn' t pass up this latest deal and Got combo shipped to Bomgaars for $219 with a mail in rebate for $20. If not close they wanted $15 to ship to home. It is a heavy combo-set but is top of the line hammer drill & 2 quality tools and high end latest tech batteries for $200 picked up after using the $20. Mail in rebate store credit. Much value if in Dewalt tools.PS was a bit confusing when I saw my deal last week but was able to order online and have option to ship store free or home for $15 if that helps.

Even though I don't live anywhere near their stores, I still haven't heard from the last $50 rebate deal on the Greenworks 82V string trimmer back on June 30th. As folks on that tread said they don't have high hopes. I ordered knowing that the rebate doesn't apply to me but the batteries were worth the price.
