I can't say for sure because I haven't seen it but judging by the reviews on Wayfair it looks like it's pretty versatile. You might want to check out the reviews and see if they give you a better idea of its suitability.

No. Far too dim. You can buy a higher CRI and 5x brighter light strip, get it with a rotary dial and glue it onto a metal housing. Otherwise a reading light strength one gonna be like 100
