I wonder if this is a better deal than the Gigabyte Aero X16 5060 for $300 less. That has 1x16 GB RAM, so is more upgradable, has a better screen, and is lighter.

This has a better GPU and CPU, but if you want to upgrade the RAM, it's 2x8 GB.

Do MSI and Gigabyte laptops have similar build quality?

5070 Ti is significantly better than the 5060 or 5070. Easily worth more than $300 on its own, this is a great deal. I don't recall seeing a 5070 ti laptop under maybe $1600 at all recently.

I have this laptop (purchased when it first came out for 1700). This is a great deal and the laptop is able to run most games pretty well.

Also add that the aero x16 5060 is power limited to 85w, so this 5070ti really washes it

I bought this back in May for my son's college use and he's been gaming on it in the meantime. No complaints from him. The 4 year Allstate accident plan for $119 is also a real bargain compared to other 3rd party plans.

It really varies. I have played BF6, Arc Raiders, Baldurs Gate etc. All kinds of games! Normally, I have to tweak the settings a bit to get my desired framerate but it runs them all really well. Obviously you can get more powerful laptops but the 5070 Ti is really solid and 1400 is a good price on this laptop.

I didnt get my package today, not sure what happened. Delivery company was 'Ontrac', really bad. Lots of people complaining about it.
This unknown company Value Tech sold and shipped the laptop. I called their number (+1) 210-383-7502, listed on Walmart's website and it goes to voicemail and the mailbox is full.

Are we gonna get scammed or be able to get our money.. holy heck.

Got the laptop but the delivery guy from OnTrac faked my signature and left it at the door.
Bit the bigger problem is that the laptop has a single dead pixel. I would keep it for a deep discount but will see what to do.
