I have the Live Pro 2 which came out the same year as this Live Free 2 (that's four years ago). I have enjoyed it. The Live Free 2 should be very similar other than the different form factor. I am not sure whether $45 is still a great price for a 4-year old product though. $50 for a pair of Soundcore Liberty 5 at costco sounds like a better deal to me.

I bought these 3 years ago and abpit a year ago one of the ear buds started dying after only 20 minutes, I paid $45. The sound quality is great though, just wish they lasted longer.

I have the JBL Live Free NC+ earbuds and they have been very good to me so I ordered this. After a billion hours with my JBL Live 300 TWS, the case doesn't hold much charge any more too so I can retire those. I got a lot of JBL earbuds (JBL Live 300TWS, JBL Live Free NC+, JBL Race, JBL Tune buds). I think JBL make very good earbuds and headphones at a solid value during the deals. I also have a couple pairs of Shokz, Google, Skullcandy and Samsung earbuds too so I have experience with other brands.

I returned 2 pairs of JBL TWS pods before settling on the stems like pods. But they were malfunctioning a lot. The last one I received are functioning ok for two of my cellular device but they would not connect to my Mac.
