This Jackson X Series Soloist is a flashy Floyd Rose superstrat that has been landing at a strong sale price, with the promo code bringing it into the mid 300s shipped. The neck through feel, fast playability, and overall look draw praise, and the deal has been compelling enough to trigger quick orders. The main cautions are the polarizing graphic, the Floyd Rose setup and string changes, and reports of paint defects or other B stock issues. A solid pick if the style and tremolo setup fit what you want.
The promo code can work when entered manually, enabling checkout at a lower total with tax.
The deal price has been low enough that buyers consider it worth taking the guitar apart and respraying.
The guitar can arrive in good cosmetic condition, including paint-free presentation in at least one delivery experience.
The guitar can be received as a visually appealing instrument, described as a beautiful axe.
The promo code can show as invalid, and it may fail if spaces are included.
The Floyd Rose setup can be difficult to tune for beginners and string changes can be a pain.
The guitar can arrive with paint defects, so inspection on arrival is important.
The guitar's sound and feel can differ from other Jackson neck-through models, with reduced resonance reported.
