This thing receives positive reviews but it's easily my least used Ryobi tool. It just doesn't work well.

I loved it for years until I switched to osi quad max for outdoor stuff and it wasn't strong enough to push a fairly small bead. I picked up the Milwaukee one and it's great, but much heavier. It does offer an adapter for the big tubes as well though.

I was wondering if it was strong enough for Heavy Duty Gorilla Construction Adhesive, that stuff broke my normal caulk gun.

This looks like an updated version, but I don't know if it's just visually different. The old one was hard to use. The time delay was maddening. You'd pull the trigger then wait 3-5 seconds for caulk to come out. When you finished a line you'd have to wait 3-5 seconds for caulk to stop coming out. I only used it on big projects doing a sheet, doing a line was too difficult.
