this one is $55.99 now, even lower than amazon prime day deal of $60.
official msrp is $89.99 at anker.com and amazon.com, but BH photo video listed it as 79.99.
now, everywhere else is also on sale at $64.99. is this a good deal ?

I have one, it gets hot enough that it'll start throttling. You'll probably get 140w out for about 20 minutes before it drops down to 100w.

B&H is a very reputable vendor. Unless you plan to return in store or really want Best Buy card points, I don't think it's worth waiting for a price match.

BHPhoto and the one from Best Buy do not come with a cable. The Amazon one does come with a 5 ft Anker Zolo cable — which should be about ~$13 on Amazon (equivalent of it is $14.99, $2.50/ft 6 ft version). I looked it up because those cables aren't cheap, at least the Anker branded ones. Amazon deal is technically a better deal for both the charger and cable.

Amazon one includes a 5ft Anker Zolo cable which is roughly ~$13 based on other similar Zolo cables sold on Amazon.

When something does not feel right or Runs Hotter by User Experience, it is Hot. Rarely Would you need a Thermal Meter to Check it before Stopping to use and Return it. Only Scenario when you need to use a Thermal Meter would be if you are in The Repair Business OR You are Troubleshooting a Very Expensive Rig.

The cable is default. All this model listed has the cable. BH is just wrong with their description.

I said the same for Best Buy and when I received it there was no cable. Upon looking at the unboxing and pictures on Amazon, the box is slightly different. Same charger. It appears Anker sells ones with and without. For the price BH is selling is in the ballpark of what BB's price in their recent sale, so would not be surprised if there is no cable. Also BH does state no cable just as BB said the same (or lackthereof), and no product pictures of Zolo cable included. Amazon mentions it and has product pictures of the Zolo cable.

Unfortunately not a lot of people talk about it. I did find one post in an older "hot deal" BB post for their sale make mention of no cable, which was buried within comments.

Again not a bad deal but not as great as people made it out to be, especially when you factor in a $13 cable.
