This is a good price but the processor is old. It's power brick limited and still stuck at 10nm so you're gonna get bad battery life

It's indeed a power hungry processor. Because they have the 5070 capped at 85w and this supposedly ships with a 150w brick, this isn't configured to run up to the full 115w that CPU can be allocated, probably more like 50-65w. Depending on their dynamic power allocation, the CPU could indeed use more if the GPU is disabled or put into a low power state however.
Either way, this laptop is indeed going to have poor battery life. You'll definitely be living off the brick.
