Community Reviews
This Gigabyte A16 looks like a strong value gaming laptop for people who want a 16 inch 165Hz IPS screen, 32GB of RAM, and an RTX 5070 without paying much more. The 2560 by 1600 panel is called out for 100 percent sRGB and 400 nit brightness, and the machine also brings Wi Fi 7, two M.2 slots, and support for up to 4TB of storage. The main tradeoffs are the 85W GPU cap, the older i7 13620H platform, and the 150W adapter, which point to limited performance headroom and poor battery life. It is also described as heavy enough to feel more like a desktop replacement than a travel laptop.

The cpu and gpu are plenty for gaming non-pros. 165hz ips is good enough even for FPS games (1v1 me if you don't think so…I won't even need my Benq XL2566K, I promise) and you'll never get OLED burn-in. Combined with 32gb ram, you're probably future proof for the next 10 years since all software makers will have to work around the average user not having more than 8gb VRAM and 16gb system ram lol.
Chatgpt work and Claude cowork modes are gonna take over anyways. Don't waste your time and money chasing hardware unless you really know what you're going after or you're rich.

Anyways, highly suggest this Legion 5 over the Gigabyte if you can swing it. Comes with 1 16 GB stick, find a match for 150-200 and it will both run circles around this Gigabyte, and importantly it will continue to do so for years because (generally speaking) Legion is tier 1 on quality and Gigabyte is just barely above MSI gaming laptops at the bottom of the barrel.
