Venmo (owned by PayPal) has a policy that leaves the receiver of money on the hook for transaction fees if a transaction is disputed even if you did not want or accept the funds to begin with. This means that someone could intentionally or accidentally put you in the red for hundreds or thousands of dollars and there is no recourse and no way to prevent it besides deleting your account before it can happen to you.
