This may not be the biggest or best but it is a LOT of monitor for $100. Ips and 200hz? This is better than budget at the budget price.

I have been looking for a monitor for my desk for a while now and this one checks all the boxes I care about: 1. It has a small form factor, small stand that won't take up a ton of desk space 2. It has the resolution and refresh rate that are good enough 3. It is new so I don't have to play refurbished roullette with the ebay store 4. Best of all it was $113 for me with free 2 day shipping. So overall, I finally got a monitor (after 4 months of looking for a deal), I spent less than the $200 budget I had for it, and it will be here Friday to connect to my laptop so I can play games on a 27" screen instead of a 16" laptop screen. Thanks OP for the post.

27" 1080 IPS has been around this price for a while now. I would say it's a deal if it's like the Walmart $60-$70 deals a few weeks back.

Is 1080p acceptable resolution for a 27"? Seems fine on my 24, seems like text on a 27" could be tough

It's not good. 27" should be at least 1440p, IMO. I upgraded from 1440p to 4k on a 27" and noticed a huge difference in quality, especially in text clarity, so I can only imagine how bad 1080p looks on 27". It's definitely worth spending an extra $50 for a 1440p monitor.
