It's a deal because at MSRP, it's still a better deal than the rest.

Would you prefer they charge $100, but go on sale at current MSRP to make us feel like we're getting a deal?

FR LOL. If you use this for streaming and playing video files, there isn't a whole lot in this price range. I guess there's the nvidia shield but that's a huge jump in price.

Not a deal. This used to be $30 any day of the week. Then it got popular. Now it's twice the price. Simply being available to buy at 200% the original price is not a deal. Let alone a slickdeal.
