Best Buy and the Google Store are both the same net price for me - Pixel 11 Pro XL with trade in of Pixel 10 Pro XL is $599 with $200 credit for that store. The only difference I see is that the Google trade in is instant, whereas the BB trade in is refunded once they get my trade. I'd probably prefer the $200 from BB instead of Google since BB has much more choice of what to spend it on.

Anyone have experience picking up the day of release at Best Buy? I'm wondering if I would be better to pickup or deliver on 8/20 since I am leaving first thing the next morning and I need time to set it up.

I tried calling the store but I got their call center and was told that there was no way to contact the store directly. I would like to grab it at store opening but not sure that will be possible.

I did that for my 9 Pro XL. It's easy. The only reason I don't like doing pickup is that you have to hand them a wiped phone if you're trading in. I prefer to have them both at the same time so I can transfer stuff to the new phone. What do you want to know specifically?

Placed my order for Pro 256GB. After my Pixel 8 Pro trade in and 15% discount the total will be $560.61 and a $200 BB Gift Card. Now I will have to relax until it is available on 08/20.

ExactIy. I did not receive any code from Google. Nevertheless, I did receive a 15% off coupon code from Best Buy. With an additional 2% cash back from a cash-back site, it's a no-brainer for me to purchase the Pixel 11 Pro XL from Best Buy with a Pixel 8 Pro trade-in for $459 off.

Who care about the phone super IC chips which will be inferior IC chips in 1 year. Most phone switching to software to trade off any hardware limitation and prolong their values. Majority just want value phones that can do common things at ease. Unlike a few months ago, AI phones are now too popular that cannot be missed for home and work.
