Not a fair comparison as the one you linked is refurbished. It also has a higher TDP (35W vs. 28W) so it could thermal throttle more in these SFF chassis.

These PCs are both the same company, cpus are both from January 2025, and they are both the same MINI form factor.

Now.. the real question: Based on the CPU/GPU would these make good Steam Machines?
Edit: answer is no. Not even close to SteamMachine spec and closer to Steamdeck.

- Anything that can go wrong, will happen in the first 30 days. Then just return it.
People, myself included, have bought jillions of these old HPs and they are built like tanks and still run no issues... And this is safer than some rando on ebay... But, I'd go with ebay, because I know what these are about and likely cheaper prices.Join The Conversation
