This 49 inch curved OLED monitor stands out as a productivity powerhouse with huge desktop space for office work, multitasking, and video editing. The wide layout handles three to four apps at once, and tools like FancyZones, Display Fusion, or dual inputs make splitting the screen easy. The OLED panel is praised for reducing eye strain, and the 1800R curve feels comfortable for some setups. For gaming, though, the stretched image and flat curvature can feel less ideal, especially on a smaller desk.

Not a fan of my 49" Samsung for work, it's too wide imo. I wish I had gotten a stubby (normal scale TV) and not an ultrawide.
I have an older Samsung 49 inch, and I had a similar issue on my work for screen sharing during meetings, etc. Most of these monitors support splitting the screen with two different inputs. So my work laptop has two inputs into the monitor, which basically creates 2 x 2560 x 1440 monitors right next to each other, and it works perfectly. That's what I primarily do for work, and then I switch to my other computer for gaming, etc., and use the whole screen just wanted to give my thoughts in case this could help someone. That said, I don't know if this monitor supports that. I would confirm that first, but I would suspect that it does

The site allows people to put the monitor in their cart, but when I go to checkout, it says it's out of stock. I'm attempting to get a refund on the $25 I spent on a membership I'll never use for anything else.

I have a 34" Alienware OLED and kinda can't imagine anything wider. Thinking in 4 or 5 years, I will try a 32" 4k or a TV on the wall before I go super duper wide.
I bought Grandma a 32" curved wide. You can do better.

I thought that at first but then I got a wider and deeper desk. It made a huge difference

for gaming, stick with your 34" UW. i have the 49" for school, work and gaming. i thought it would be awesome for gaming, but it is not. screen too stretched and the view is just way too bad. so depending on your need this monitor can be awesome or just no way.

I'm not who you replied to but thanks for that feedback. My main driver to purchase would be gaming but to be honest, 95% of the time behind the monitor would be work since I rarely actually game on my desktop. That's solid info.

Yes, I think so, at least from my experience yesterday. It's pretty frustrating since the site doesn't show that the monitor is out of stock.

I can still add it to cart and stuff. I don't have membership and an account to verify like you do. After some research, I think I'd be happier with 21:9 ratio for office and productivity work.

You'll be able to add it to the cart but won't be able to checkout.

I think I will go with a 21:9 ratio UltraWide for productivity. I think I need more height for reading and coding.

It's been this price for weeks. It's a good one. I'm waiting for it to go on clearanceSmilie
Any luck on clearance? I'm watching for it now also. Hell, I'd pay the 600 if it was still available
