A little bit of both. A vocal minority of the online community has decided that Universes Beyond is the plague no matter what, even when the cards are good. TMNT wasn't actually a bad set, but it shared too many similarities to Spider-Man, which was one of the worst sets ever released so it gets dismissed off-hand. (I've bought 3 play booster boxes of it, and I came out ahead on each one.) Final Fantasy was better, Avatar was better, but if you're a TMNT fan, like cracking packs and can find one of these bundles for less than $50, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Woah I really don't like those designs. I know the turtles change with the times as they say, but this isn't very appealing.
