These rechargeable flashlights are mainly appealing as a cheap, bright two pack for keeping one in a car or backpack. The lights arrive charged or nearly charged, and the beam is described as impressively bright for the size, with simple one button operation and multiple modes including a side light. The included battery appears to be a legitimate 18650, but capacity is around 1,800 mAh and it may lose charge over time. The body is also reported to be mostly plastic despite the aluminum listing, so they feel more budget than rugged.
Common Questions (5)
They are described as bright for the size and roughly far brighter than a typical phone flashlight. Several comments say they work well around the house and are useful to keep in a car or backpack.
Yes, the promo code works and the deal is considered a good buy at around $10 for two lights. Some buyers also note they arrived charged or nearly charged out of the box.
One press turns the light on or off. To access the side light and other modes, hold the button for a few seconds, then press again to cycle through the modes.
The main body is reported to be plastic, with only the LED/lens area made of aluminum. The flashlight can scratch like plastic, so the aluminum-body claim appears inaccurate.
It includes a built-in 18650-style battery that is not user-replaceable, with a reported capacity around 1,800 mAh. That is lower than many 18650 cells above 3,000 mAh, so runtime may be shorter.

1. Battery Design:
This flashlight has a built-in battery that cannot be changed or upgraded by the average user. I don't prefer this design because:
Li-ion batteries can degrade over time.
The included battery has a relatively low capacity (1,800 mAh).
2. Size:
This flashlight is slightly oversized. Most of my single 18650 flashlights are extremely compact and pocket-sized. This one is larger, but the extra size is justified by the slide-focus beam and the additional side floodlight. That said, the main body could be more space-efficient.
3. Casing:
The flashlight is advertised as having an aluminum casing, but only the LED and lens area are aluminum; the main body is plastic. I'm fine with this since it makes the flashlight lighter, and the lens area is the most critical part.
I just want on/off and nothing more
UPDATE: Just got them today, they are bright and seem pretty decent for $5! If you do a search on Amazon I see very similar ones cheaper though, and I'm sure you can find some super cheap on that Temu and the like!
