These rechargeable flashlights are mainly appealing as a cheap, bright two pack for keeping one in a car or backpack. The lights arrive charged or nearly charged, and the beam is described as impressively bright for the size, with simple one button operation and multiple modes including a side light. The included battery appears to be a legitimate 18650, but capacity is around 1,800 mAh and it may lose charge over time. The body is also reported to be mostly plastic despite the aluminum listing, so they feel more budget than rugged.
The flashlights can be useful to keep one in a backpack and one in a car.
The included 18650 battery reportedly appears legitimate and quality, even though its capacity is lower.
The flashlights can arrive fully charged out of the box and turn on immediately after unboxing.
The flashlights can be impressively bright and may work well for kids camping or Scouts use.
The flashlights can lose about 35% capacity over three weeks even when not being used.
The flashlight body can be mostly plastic despite aluminum advertising, with plastic scratching easily.
The battery can reportedly be built in and not accessible or replaceable for typical users.
Cycling lighting modes can make it easy to miss the OFF option and get stuck in a loop.

1. Battery Design:
This flashlight has a built-in battery that cannot be changed or upgraded by the average user. I don't prefer this design because:
Li-ion batteries can degrade over time.
The included battery has a relatively low capacity (1,800 mAh).
2. Size:
This flashlight is slightly oversized. Most of my single 18650 flashlights are extremely compact and pocket-sized. This one is larger, but the extra size is justified by the slide-focus beam and the additional side floodlight. That said, the main body could be more space-efficient.
3. Casing:
The flashlight is advertised as having an aluminum casing, but only the LED and lens area are aluminum; the main body is plastic. I'm fine with this since it makes the flashlight lighter, and the lens area is the most critical part.

UPDATE: Just got them today, they are bright and seem pretty decent for $5! If you do a search on Amazon I see very similar ones cheaper though, and I'm sure you can find some super cheap on that Temu and the like!
