The federal Residential Clean Energy Credit (Section 25D) is no longer available for new home installations in 2026. Following legislative changes under the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, the credit expired for any clean energy expenditures or system installations completed after December 31, 2025
Yes I wouldn't buy this I could get panels very very cheap brand new used I installed my own 14 years ago and already upgraded the panels I use Enphase micro inverters.

25% efficiency is pretty good last time I checked a couple years ago panels are only like 15%
That is only if you have a white backing to reflect some lights to the back side of the panel - Bifacial. If it just the front, you are still only getting about 15% or so efficiency.

this credit is gone already. you will not get any credit for solar anymore
wow... 400+ for each 590W panel ... this is crazy!! FB marketplace normally sells new 1 tier panels for $175 per panel (no tax but you might pay 60$ for delivery of your panels)
