I am heavily in the EGO ecosystem and have been looking at this for a while. I had read recently on Reddit that someone found a deal like this previously. You are getting the tool/battery/charger for less than the tool only price. Or getting a free battery if you want to look at it that way.

It's just a tool that can't be swapped out like the multi-head. From what I've read this tool has better weight distribution and is more comfortable to use because the motor is down low instead of up in the handle. At this price this tool is about $100 less than getting the multi-head and snow blower attachment and it also includes the battery and charger.

This has been hitting this price very often recently. If you missed the deal just keep and eye on it and you'll probably see it again.
