This handheld steam cleaner is best for small, targeted cleaning jobs like grout, shower corners, sink seams, car interiors, and other hard to reach spots. The steam and heat help lift dirt and stains, and it can make bathrooms, kitchens, and even some fridge or freezer ice buildup easier to tackle. It is not a pressure washer, so it works a small area at a time and needs wiping afterward. Hard water mineral buildup, baked on grease, and very large tile jobs remain weak spots, and the hose, controls, and attachments draw some complaints. A compact detail cleaner if you want steam without a full size machine.

Bought 2 myself, pretty happy with them for spot cleaning.

I picked one up and it's roughly 600W; performance is decent for small cleaning jobs such as grout lines, tile, sink seams, stovetop crevices, and similar spots.
Set expectations appropriately: it's not a replacement for a full-size upholstery cleaner, and I wouldn't rely on its marketing claims for sanitizing or "killing all germs." Think inexpensive detail-cleaning tool, not commercial steam equipment. I returned mine so I could buy a $200 unit instead.
Temu also periodically offers a "20-day gift calendar" promotion. It's usually most visible around the holidays, but it seems to appear at other times as well. Searching QQQQ in the app may surface it.
A few caveats before bothering:
- You need a Temu account and the mobile app.
- Assume the platform will aggressively collect/market data; decide whether you're comfortable with that before signing up.
- Use a payment method with buyer protections (for example, PayPal or a virtual-card number) rather than treating it like a trusted retailer.
- Most of the daily "gifts," coupons, and filler offers are junk.
- The promotion will require a qualifying order—typically about $27-$35 of items plus a $2.99 shipping.
My experience:- Open the calendar offer and choose the small daily gifts. These are largely placeholders, so don't overthink them.
- Make a single small qualifying purchase, pick something $1-2.
- Pick a final gift initially; you can usually change it later.
- Check in daily for 20 days and claim each daily item. Avoid buying things solely to advance the promotion. Early in the calendar they will offer you a 'Wishing Well' promotion for 200 coins. Take it, get 1000 coins the next day.
- Before day 20, switch the final gift to something you actually want. If the item does not appear, search it first, then return to the calendar page.
- On day 20, claim the final gift, add at least $30 in items you genuinely wanted anyway, pay the applicable shipping, and check out.
It's a lot of friction for a "free" item, so it only makes sense if you already planned to buy about $30 of items from Temu and you are willing to check in every day. Otherwise, the straightforward ~$40 listing is likely the better deal.If they offer you 20 gifts (for a $10 purchase), just ignore it and log back in the next day and you'll have the 20 gift offer anyway for free.
If you miss a day, that 1000 coins will get that day back for you.
For reference, I've received a Ryobi-style power-tool rack, a 10×10 pop-up canopy, and plastic "Rhino Ramp"-style vehicle ramps through these promotions.
It was simple enough for me to find $100 of things I actually need from Temu, but now I've got enough stuff. Obviously be careful with what you buy as the quality is low (e.g don't trust the ramps as your only thing between the ground and the car
-Written by me then made more polite and clear by Perplexity/Claude because I'm rather abrasive
