I know Reolink are better but I do already have a whole hue ecosystem.
I get it though… it's simpler than it sounds. You're overlooking the small add-on switches and motion sensors. Before the bulbs received the sensing upgrade, multiple motion sensors were required; before the Hue app update, there were Hue and Hue Sync—a dedicated set of Hue Play items like light bars, TV strips, and the sync box—originally had some layover lighting representing separate areas of the same room for lighting and play in the same room. Then came integration into Samsung OLED instead of the Sync Box. As I consider all this, I have a few custom Play lamps, a rear floodlight, and some outdoor motion sensors n light strips. Nearly every room in my house has between five lights and devices at the minimum and nineteen in the master bedroom, and I also have some Hue Lutron gear.
TLDR
Basically, I enjoy incredibly comforting and detailed mood lighting (peace to play).
Regular House, HUE lighting 😜
