It is but their replacement parts are of a lower quality. Ive purchased a regular 64 and low profile. Both didnt make it past 2 years. That's unacceptable even with what i paid ($80 each vs $150 for one). My 5200 Vitamix from decades ago has a container that looks brand new despite my mother using it every day for years. There definitely has been a decrease in quality and if you are worried about cracks developing i would look into the stainless container
