I have the weedwhacker and pole saw and the snowblower too. It's nice to have at least one other tool to have an extra battery if you're using push assist on hills a lot, we only have to change out the battery if we were super neglectful with the yard or if we're mowing down my huge hillside garden in late fall. We usually don't need an extra battery (except for the snowblower on a crazy snowy day)

I don't know about the refurb ones (I wouldn't trust the batteries) but I have an 80v Greenworks Pro that will cut my 1/3 acre on one 4AH battery. It just barely does it if the grass is high and wet though. I don't bag my grass so I can't speak to that. What I really don't like about any battery mowers I've seen so far is the rear wheel drive. It makes making turns much more awkward. My gas self propelled (front wheel drive) is easier to use but noisier and of course needs more engine maintenance.
I also have the GW 18" chainsaw which works great though I use the 2AH batteries in that due to weight.
